Agneev Guin is a Research Engineer for the environmental perception of autonomous driving at Volkswagen AG. Having received his Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from India, Agneev worked with Tata Services for 2 years. He received his Master’s degree in Robotics Engineering from KTH University, Sweden. He further pursued his career into autonomous driving with the heavy duty vehicles at Scania in Sweden and advanced into the development of the perception of autonomous driving for the research vehicles at Volkswagen. Belonging to the field of neural networks, he is involved in the development of panoptic segmentation and currently diving into large language models for the use in autonomous driving.
